The Higg Index is an apparel and footwear industry self-assessment standard for assessing environmental and social sustainability throughout the supply chain. Launched in 2012, it was developed by the Sustainable Apparel Coalition, a nonprofit organization founded by a group of fashion companies, the United States government Environmental Protection Agency, and other nonprofit entities. We have been a proud member since 2019 – Capital World Group’s Higg ID is 132290

Our collaboration with CleanDye has driven our contribution to the sustainability movement tremendously. CleanDye operates the first water and chemical-free textile dyeing factory in the world. They use a technology called SCF (Super Critical Fluid) dyeing, developed by company DyeCoo Textile System. The factory is also located in Vietnam, making them geographically very convenient to work with. CWT Group and CleanDye have been collaborating to produce one of the cleanest forms of clothing current technologies allows us to offer today. Click here to learn more about CleanDye.

As sustainability becomes more than just a buzz word in the industry, brands/retailers are starting to demand authenticity and traceability to ensure the relevant claims are met. The RCS (Recycled Claim Standard) is used as a chain of custody standard to track recycled raw materials through the supply chain. The RCS verifies the presence and amount of recycled material in a final product. Click here to see our latest RCS certificate.

We have access to material supply chain which is able to provide FSC certified materials like Viscose/Rayon, taking steps to narrow our carbon footprint. More information on FCS can be found here.

Better Cotton Initiative (BCI) is the world’s largest cotton sustainability programme, which focuses on helping cottong communities survive and thrice, while protecting and restoring the environment – we have been using BCI certified material for over 5 years now. More about BCI can be found here.
Organic cotton is a good sustainable solution, which is grown without the use of pesticides, from seeds which have not been genetically modified. Organic farming practices avoid using harmful chemicals while aiming for environmental sustainability and the use of fewer resources. Our company has access to and regular uses OCS certified Organic Cotton in our products.
